About the role
- As a Superintendent, you will provide leadership and supervision at a Schimenti construction site and ensure consistent safety measures are observed by all team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractors, laborers, and others at the job site
- Coordinate task completion and schedules with trade partners
- Maintain daily focus on job site safety and ensure security of project perimeter
- Schimenti Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to support night shifts (8:30pm-8:00am) at a retail construction project in Clifton Park, New York.
Requirements
- Attend and participate in required weekly project and subcontractor meetings
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specifications
- Proven experience managing complex commerical construction projects on short timetables
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- High school diploma required, trade school or college education preferred
- 10 or 30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety Certificate
- Ability to work with tools to perform various phases of construction work is a plus
Nice to have
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Procore experience highly preferred
- Timberline/Sage experience preferred
- Basic working knowledge of Zoom or MS Teams
