About the role

  • As an employer of record service, Career Catalyst provides human resources and payroll services for work-based learning while partnering with a diverse network of clients.
  • In this role, the Workforce Development Administrative Assistant will facilitate hiring, time tracking, terminations, and payroll processes that enable employees to learn outside the classroom while earning a wage.
  • Our headquarters are located in Downtown Sacramento, just blocks from California's State Capitol.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for Career Catalyst Service, including monitoring the Salesforce ticketing system, performing password resets, tracking and auditing employment and worksite documentation, and assisting with client and employee training.
  • Administrative support for internal and external meetings, including complex scheduling, regular monitoring for schedule conflicts, meeting preparation (including preparing agendas and coordinating agenda contributions from staff members), detailed note taking, and meeting follow up (includingtracking action items, sending reminders, and scheduling follow up meetings).
  • Under the direction of the Senior Manager, this Administrative Assistant position represents an exciting opportunity for an individual with robust attention to detail and problem solving skills to provide administrative support to resource development activities and special projects.

Requirements

  • Excellent record in customer service required.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with human resources hiring, payroll, and termination processes preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
