About the role
- The NFL Digital Media Team is seeking an individual passionate about professional sports to assist with Digital Ad Insertion for live football games.
- The Digital Ad Insertion Operator (DAI) is responsible for monitoring a live game and events feed from start to finish and inserting ad cues during commercial breaks.
- Candidates will be working in a live video distribution environment, and punctuality is of the essence.
Responsibilities
- Perform as either a primary operator or as a backup.
- Perform application and system testing of ad delivery as directed.
- At the NFL, in-person work at our offices is a top priority because it allows us to collaborate more effectively, build stronger connections, and maintain the culture that drives our success.
Requirements
- Must have high school diploma
- GED or equivalency (Some college, no degree required)
- Proven experience working with computers in an office environment.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, PP, Outlook) in PC or MAC
- Working knowledge of email, slack and web browsers in PC or MAC
- Proficiency with a variety of mobile (iOS, Android) and Connected TV Devices (FireTV/AppleTV/Roku/AppleTV) as used in a testing or development environment.
- Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on multi-step instructions.
- The team's focus is on continuous improvement in their ability to understand and measure the overall effectiveness of the ad delivery system, through evolving tools, processes and capabilities.
Nice to have
- Bachelors, or Associate degree preferred.
- Prior experience working for the NFL.
- Previous experience working in live TV/broadcast environments (production, stage, etc.) is preferred.
- Availability on non-Game Days a consideration.
- Availability for occasional in-office work is a consideration.
- Other Key Attributes / Characteristics
- Must possess a strong work ethic, positive workplace approach and work well with others.
- Passionate sports-fan, knowledgeable about football (preferred not required).
