  • The Project Manager, Digital Enablement will initiate, plan, execute, control, and manage mid-scale digital and software-based innovation programs within Edwards Lifesciences' early-stage incubator.
  • Develop high-level milestone plans for programs and manage program change in accordance with change management plans to control scope, quality, schedule, cost, and contracts.
  • Manage mid-scale projects and related program activities, ensuring clear project plans, deliverables, dependencies, timelines, and decision points.
  • Execute program plans, including quality, risk, communication, staffing, and stakeholder engagement plans, and communicate program status and data to maintain accurate and current program information for stakeholders.
  • Drive and coordinate program stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications, both internal and external to the organization.
  • Partner with internal technology and business leaders to identify, develop, and execute whitespace product opportunities.
  • Manage multiple concurrent early-stage software development programs, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned to stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify project and schedule risks, interdependencies, and constraints; develop mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, and issue-resolution plans in collaboration with cross-functional groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 8 years of hands-on experience managing projects and/or programs of increasing complexity, or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria.
  • Master's Degree or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria may be considered.

Skills

  • Demonstrated experience applying project management methodology, governance practices, tools, and change management discipline.
  • What else we look for (Preferred):
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent continuous improvement certification.
  • Scrum Master certification or demonstrated agile delivery experience.
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
  • Experience working with remote or international software engineering teams.
  • Ability to quickly evaluate solution viability, fail fast when appropriate, and translate learnings into pragmatic next steps.
  • Practical knowledge of clinical trials, biostatistics, and evidence generation.
  • Experience with Software as a Medical Device and regulatory compliance frameworks such as FDA expectations, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304.
  • Understanding of business strategy and the competitive landscape in the medical device, medtech, or digital health industry.
  • Experience with product use cases involving medical imaging such as CT, MRI, echocardiography, ultrasound, or image processing.

Compensation

  • For California, the base pay range for this position is $121,000 to $171,000 (highly experienced).
