About the role
- This is a part time position requiring approximately 20-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple maintenance and repair projects simultaneously, average cost between $50,000 and $3 million, being executed by MSTS (M&O site contractor for NNSS site) leveraging resources and schedules to stay within a reasonable budget and schedule.
- Manage property accountability, excessing, and disposal processes in compliance with DOE, GSA, and federal regulations.
- Support facility operations including inventory control, maintenance coordination, and lock/key management.
- Collaborate with multiple agencies and stakeholders across federal, state, and local levels.
- Prepare reports and maintain detailed records for federal stakeholders and headquarters offices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project management, facilities operations, property management and/or federal site support.
- Some knowledge of federal property disposal procedures and compliance requirements.
- Forklift certification and experience with equipment such as pallet jacks and lift tables (or ability to obtain it after hiring).
- Ability to work independently in high-responsibility environments.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Military background or experience in structured, mission-critical environments.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or ability to obtain it after hiring).
- Prior experience supporting DOE or similar federal agencies.
