About the role

  • Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute is searching for a Project Scientist/Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Contributor in developing and documenting research findings and collaborator in writing scientific papers.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines for processing large-scale 3D human datasets, including human mesh reconstruction, mesh cleanup, optimization, and conversion between parametric body models such as HMR and SMPL.
  • Lead research efforts within main goals of project, and help coordinate interactions with other team members and universities.
  • Process, synchronize, and validate motion capture datasets involving both human meshes and 3D objects, while developing tools for data calibration, quality assurance, and annotation.
  • Propose and lead independent research goals within scope of projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-8 Years of Research Experience
