About the role

  • We are looking to grow our core Applied Science team by adding a "Senior Applied Data Scientist".
  • This is an individual contributor role on a highly collaborative team.
  • In short, you'll be a full-stack applied data scientist and software developer.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the technical elements of a variety of product development and data analysis projects (prototyping, evaluation, productionization, and maintenance), especially related to audio and video processing, generative AI, predictive modeling, and NLP
  • Participate in the internal peer review process, including design reviews, code reviews, and data analysis reviews
  • Design, manage, and analyze controlled experiments within our production systems

Requirements

  • Experience writing, deploying, and maintaining Python and SQL code in a production setting
  • Experience using third-party generative AI systems, including prompt engineering and fine-tuning
  • Experience in the accessibility and localization industries
