Responsibilities
- Stay hands-on with our codebase to maintain technical credibility and deep understanding of our systems. You aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to fix a bug, add monitoring, or ship a feature when needed.
- Manage team performance by setting clear expectations, providing continuous feedback, and conducting performance reviews that help engineers grow
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience building distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or developer tooling
- Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams, including hiring, developing, and retaining top talent
- Implement comprehensive telemetry, logging, and alerting systems that ensure 99.9%+ uptime and enable rapid incident response.
- Design and manage systems for reliable, secure, and compliant deployments across customer environments.
- As the Engineering Manager for this team, you'll define and own the technical roadmap for Platform infrastructure, where you will balance customer-needs with longer-term architectural excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an engineering manager, with demonstrated success leading platform, infrastructure, or systems teams
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with AI tooling and enabling a team to effectively follow an AI-native software development lifecycle
Nice to have
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows.
- Background in cybersecurity
