About the role

  • The Minneapolis VA Health Care System is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to work within the Spinal Cord Injury/Disorders (SCI/D) Center.
  • This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program.
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.

Requirements

  • The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
  • PRPs must be fully licensed physicians (i.e., not a training license) and may only be appointed on an intermittent basis.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Nice to have

  • Board certified in PM&R.
  • Fellowship trained in Spinal Cord Injury.
  • Board Certified in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Spinal Cord Medicine.
  • Preferred Experience: Board certified in PM&R.

Compensation

  • $250k-$300k
