About the role
- This role serves as a critical data analyst supporting logistical and financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Air Force Working Capital Fund (AFWCF) Audit Support: Provide ongoing analytics and evidentiary support for the congressionally mandated AFWCF audit.
- Data Engineering & Reporting: Expert-level utilization of Microsoft Excel and Power Query to build automated, repeatable data transformation workflows.
- Design scalable reporting dashboards to provide actionable intelligence to leadership.
- Provide ongoing analytics and evidentiary support for the congressionally mandated AFWCF audit.
- Expert-level utilization of Microsoft Excel and Power Query to build automated, repeatable data transformation workflows.
- A key operational requirement for this position is providing ongoing, rigorous support for the congressionally mandated AFWCF audit, ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and compliance with financial reporting standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrated advanced expertise in DMLSS.
- Deep proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced array functions, VBA) and Power Query (M code).
- Proven experience supporting DoD or Federal financial audits, specifically AFWCF operations.
- Experience with Business Intelligence Central Services (BCS) to include a working knowledge of SQL specifically related to BCS ad hoc reporting.
- The primary responsibility is to leverage advanced knowledge of DMLSS and expert-level Microsoft Excel and Power Query skills to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets.

- Preferred Skills: Experience migrating legacy Excel/Power Query models to advanced visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
