About the role
- The Maintenance Planner will work with the Maintenance Department to organize & align department processes & functions to maximize equipment uptime.
- They will schedule all non-emergency maintenance work and communicate the plan with the Maintenance team, in addition to ensuring all necessary parts, materials and tools are available to complete the orders & PMs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with plant departments to adjust schedule in order to accommodate urgent work & support the team
- Manage spare parts inventory
Nice to have
- Identify resource requirements for work orders & coordinate availability
- Assist in development of standard processes and procedures for the Maintenance department
- Administer CMMS including revisions or additions of users, suppliers, parts, assets, preventative maintenance plants, workflows and forms
- Generate and analyze reports based on relevant KPIs
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance scheduling/planning/coordination within a manufacturing environment
- College or University within a Technical field such as Engineering is preferred
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office and CMMS software
- Understanding of core maintenance functions including preventative maintenance, work orders, routine inspections and parts management
