Responsibilities

  • The Sales Operations & Support Specialist is an office-based role responsible for providing critical operational, technical, and administrative support to the Outside Sales team.
  • A primary focus of the role includes ownership and support of the CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system and maintaining accurate customer and sales data within Salesforce.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Outside Sales team to help meet and exceed company sales goals.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing team on sales-related initiatives, campaigns, and materials.
  • Collaborate with Contracts and Project Management teams to ensure customer machine details, statements of work (SOWs), and shipment schedules are accurate and completed on time.
  • Create machine tool layouts, including sizes, specifications, and weights, to support sales and project planning efforts.
  • Prepare deal sheets, pricing documentation, and product line pricing support as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all responsibilities.
  • Able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting of moderate to heavyweight material up to 50 lbs. with assistance from equipment or other employees.

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills required for precise electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments, with exposure to noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions, while consistently wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Nice to have

  • College degree preferred.
  • Experience with CPQ systems strongly preferred.
  • SolidWorks experience is a plus.
