Requirements
- Ability to work well with others, gain consensus, and work towards a common goal.
- Valid driver's license and state-required auto insurance.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, bachelor's degree in any field preferred.
- Lived experience in communities for this program and/or three years of community-based direct service experience as a Promoteres de Salud, Community Health Workers, Peer Advocates, Parent Partners, Community Ambassadors, etc.
- Sensitivity to service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
- Participates in, conducts, and sustains performance quality improvement activities according to designated role and responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
- Understands CII's basic philosophy and participates fully in carrying out its mission.
Nice to have
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred.
Skills
- Working knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Compensation
- In accordance with California law, the expected pay range for this position is included in this posting.
- The actual compensation will be determined based on factors permitted by law.
- New hires will be offered a salary at the starting point of the range to maintain internal inequity and allow opportunity for future salary growth.
