About the role

  • We are looking to add a Mining Technician to our growing Operations Department.
  • As a Mining Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of Miners and equipment and maintaining a clean working environment.
  • This is a day shift position with a rotating 12-hour schedule, working from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on scheduled days.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the installation of computer equipment from start to finish including unpacking boxes, installing miners, pulling, and installing cables (Cat-5) in the appropriate server port.
  • Operate a scissor lift at heights up to 20 feet to install and maintain miners.
  • Maintain the bitcoin miners by performing housekeeping tasks including pick up and disposal of trash, dusting, and sweeping the work area.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to learn and develop.

Requirements

  • Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots).
  • Ability to use a pallet jack or willingness to learn to operate required machinery and equipment.
  • Physical requirements and work environment Must be physically able to climb ladders and access tight or awkward spaces as required.

  • Prior experience installing computer equipment is a plus.
