Responsibilities
- Manage QA capacity, priorities, assignments, and delivery commitments across an assigned portfolio
- Lead and develop Quality Analysts through coaching, training, feedback, and performance management
- Lead defect prioritization, escalation, and resolution activities across business and technology teams
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Project Management, and business teams on testing scope, acceptance criteria, and release planning
- Implement enhancements to testing processes, tools, and automation practices
- Proven ability to analyze quality metrics, defects, business risk, and customer impact to drive informed decisions
Requirements
- 5+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience in insurance, technology, financial services, or another regulated industry
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams, priorities, and performance
- Software testing or quality assurance certification required
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, defect management, release controls, and the software development lifecycle
- Experience managing testing against quality standards, audit requirements, internal controls, and release milestones
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Nice to have
- High School diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, business, insurance, or a related field preferred.
