Responsibilities
- From time to time, Talen Energy and its companies partner with select executive search firms and recruitment agencies under formal, written agreements aligned to specific business needs.
Requirements
- Skills: Strong knowledge of NERC standards, engineering topics like relay testing, protection coordination, power system modeling, and substation equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of regulatory compliance or proven experience supporting NERC audits and regulatory interactions.

- On‑call or after‑hours support may be required during compliance events or system incidents.

Skills
- Able to meet requirements for nuclear plant background clearance and medium impact clearance, where applicable.
- Experience working with Regional Entities (e.g., WECC, ERCOT, SERC, MRO, NPCC, RF, TRE).
- Project Management certification (PMP) - a plus
