- To ensure the growth and development of our new hires, this position is eligible for a 90-Day Evaluation that includes a pay increase if key performance indicators are met.
- This position ensures products meet quality standards while supporting production efficiency, equipment performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Employees are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow all laser safety guidelines.
- As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado.
- Three (3) or more years of manufacturing, machine operation, laser equipment, or related production experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work requiring precise measurements and tolerances.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for production reporting and equipment interface operation.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience using precision measurement and inspection equipment.
- Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, and repetitive hand movements throughout the workday.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to distinguish colors and inspect small components.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and laser equipment while following established safety protocols.
