About the role

  • GIRO is seeking a strategic business development leader to help shape the future of public transit by identifying new market opportunities, fostering long-term relationships with transit agencies, and influencing the evolution of our solutions.
  • Success in this role is not measured by short-term revenue generation.
  • Our customers are primarily public transit agencies and government organizations, where procurement and decision-making cycles often span multiple years.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for GIRO's paratransit and fixed route public transit.
  • Support sales pursuits through customer discovery, strategic account planning, proposal development, and executive presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, consulting, or a related client-facing role.
  • Deep knowledge of the paratransit or fixed route public transit, including operational challenges, market trends, and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions and business value.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the selected country at the time an offer of employment is made.
  • It is the sole responsibility of candidates to obtain any required work permits, visas, or other authorizations prior to their start date.
