About the role

  • Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our Cardiopulmonary Department!
  • Therapist is responsible for providing patient education, quality patient treatment, and will meet all regulatory compliance.
  • Provides accurate documentation and charge capture of each exam, procedure performed.

Responsibilities

  • The Respiratory Therapist works effectively with patients and patients' families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental and support personnel.
  • Maintains organization of workload, department facility and workstation.
  • Maintains patient records and files, as appropriate.
  • Regularly stocks and maintains inventory to appropriate levels for scheduled
  • Maintains audit goals including but not limited to Pixis, charge, chart, budget, ABG and corporate compliance audits.
  • Maintains productivity and utilizes low census policy when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Additional pre-employment items may be required.
  • Completes appropriate forms and consent as required for specific exams.
  • Rotates and or covers shifts as required.
  • Must be able to function and excel in a team environment and relate positively and favorably to staff, patients, visitors, families, and physicians.
