About the role
- iCapital is seeking an Associate Full Stack Engineer with an initial emphasis on frontend development to join the Post-Investments Technology team.
- While the focus will start on the frontend, the role is expected to contribute across the stack over time.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and upkeep.
- Collaborate with multiple Backend teams working in Scala and Ruby on Rails to integrate frontend services with distributed microservice architectures.
- Contribute to API design and backend development as needed to support end-to-end feature delivery.
- Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support and enhance critical, client-facing platforms and workflows.
Requirements
- Experience as a full stack engineer, with stronger depth on the frontend
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks
- Working knowledge of backend technologies such as Scala or Ruby on Rails
- Experience working in a microservices-based architecture
- Experience supporting complex, high-scale, client-facing applications.
- Able to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
- Familiar with document-heavy or workflow-driven user interfaces
- Willingness to grow deeper into backend ownership over time

- The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $135,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
