About the role
- Demonstrate knowledge of child development, developmentally appropriate practices, and the Alabama Early Learning and Development Standards.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement lesson plans for a developmentally appropriate, child-centered curriculum based on children's interests and developmental needs
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families through daily communication and partnership
- Mentor and support Assistant Teachers within the classroom
- Maintain organized, accurate classroom records in alignment with licensing requirements
- Collaborate with school leadership to continuously improve classroom quality and practices
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through professionalism and effective communication.
- Child-Centered Approach: Our educators facilitate each child's success by observing their interests and developing a curriculum inspired by their curiosity.
Requirements
- To be considered, applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to Huntsville, Alabama.
