About the role
- As the Principal Consultant, you will help organizations establish governance frameworks that enable trusted, scalable adoption of analytics, automation, and AI across the enterprise.
- This is a senior individual contributor role for a practitioner who excels at aligning business outcomes, organizational change, governance, and technology capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design governance frameworks that enable organizations to scale analytics, automation, and AI while maintaining trust, accountability, compliance, and business agility.
- Design frameworks for AI inventory management, usage monitoring, performance measurement, business impact tracking, and governance effectiveness.
- Design content lifecycle, certification, stewardship, ownership, and asset management models that promote trust, discoverability, and reuse.
- Partner with business leaders to define adoption strategies, governance KPIs, success metrics, and value realization frameworks.
- Lead governance transformation initiatives that improve both user empowerment and organizational control.

Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in consulting, enterprise transformation, governance, analytics, data management, AI enablement, or related disciplines.
- Experience working with analytics and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and an understanding of how governance enables trusted analytics.
- Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives involving business, analytics, AI, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI principles, AI governance practices, data governance frameworks, or enterprise risk management approaches is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Governance & AI Leadership: Strong understanding of how organizations scale analytics, automation, and AI capabilities responsibly and sustainably.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing governance programs, operating models, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), or enterprise adoption strategies.
- Experience partnering with business, analytics, data, and technology leaders to drive governance, adoption, or organizational change initiatives.

- Experience working with large enterprise organizations is preferred.
- Experience creating reusable methodologies, frameworks, or consulting assets is strongly preferred.

Compensation
- Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
- The salary range for this role in the United States is $136,600 - $177,050.
- In addition to base pay and bonus eligibility, this role includes clear forms of additional compensation, such as:
- An annual $200 home office reimbursement
