Responsibilities
- Ensure material is received, processed, properly stored, and issued accurately and in a timely manner to support production
- Maintain storage shelf inventory quantity and accuracy to meet production requirements
- Maintains warehouse in a safe clean and orderly fashion, including sweeping floors and dusting shelves (5s)
- Operate material handling equipment safely to perform assigned tasks
Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing shop floor and warehouse environment
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 lbs unassisted, and heavier items with assistance or material handling equipment
- Ability to work in an environment with continuous background noise and sounds generated by production equipment and material handling processes
- Ability to demonstrate hand-eye coordination to handle materials and operate equipment safely
- Ability to operate material handling or mobile equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely as required
Nice to have
- (Not required, will provide training)
- Basic user of computer to include Microsoft Programs, SAP and Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience using mobile equipment to move materials
- 0-2 years experience working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
