About the role

  • Specific training and electrical / mechanical competencies are an asset.
  • Complete various reports, checklists, and hazard analysis as it pertains to job scope.
  • Participate in company and customer HSE/training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the site On-Call Program on weekends.
  • Climb wind turbines (upwards of 130m) to perform diagnostic testing, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs to mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components/systems.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience/service to our partners in the industry.
  • inspection, greasing, cleaning, torquing and tensioning of bolted connections Apply LOTO Electrical Troubleshooting Hydraulic Troubleshooting Follow and implement work procedures for specific scopes of work to inspect, repair and maintain Wind Turbine components Populate, track and communicate client and company documentation on a daily basis Maintain and track parts/consumables inventory.

Requirements

  • The technician must be competent and qualified to work on Gamesa G97 or Vestas V90 wind turbines.
