- Under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse Supervisor (CNS), the role involves a range of technical, clerical, clinical, and general infusion nurse tasks related to home infusion services.
- include patient home care, including assessment, obtaining IV and port access, administering intravenous and injectable medications, and providing education.
Responsibilities
- Additionally, the role supports pharmacy operations through quality control activities, maintenance of pharmacy and nursing records, inventory management and preparation of medication orders.
- Identifies, documents, and communicates any potential risks, adverse reactions, or complications associated with infusion therapy in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Provides clinical feedback and collaborates on care plan adjustments based on patient response, condition changes, or reported concerns.
- Maintains thorough and accurate documentation of the infusion process, including patient responses, adverse events, and medication administration details.
- Collaborates closely with the nursing team, pharmacists, and pharmacy staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care and effective implementation of treatment plans.
- Maintains strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols throughout the infusion process to ensure patient safety and procedural integrity.
Requirements
- Provide in-home infusion therapy with regular travel required to and from patient residences.

Compensation
- Compensation Range: $45/hr - $50/hr (DOE) + $.48/mile
