About the role
- Analyst will be responsible for analyzing samples using manual and more complex instrumental techniques in accordance with prescribed methods and standard operating procedures.
- Analyze, interpret and review sample results, as well as peer review of other data.
- Record bench level observations and keep records in bound and electronic notebooks.

- Perform all duties associated with sample analysis of more complex laboratory tests.
- Perform all quality control requirements associated with the methods and maintain appropriate records.
- Perform all work within established quality control parameters and within specified turnaround times.
- Maintain safe working conditions and a clean, orderly work area at all times.
Requirements
- Must be able to initiate corrective action without prompting and assist co-workers whenever necessary in order to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to effectively perform duties under pressures arising from large sample volumes and short turn-around times.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to use (or learn to use) Laboratory Information Management System.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in a related science is preferred.
- ICPMS/ICP-AES/ICP-OES experience strongly preferred
- 1-5 years of analytical laboratory experience preferred
