About the role
- The individual serves as an educator of pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, international scholars, and other members of the healthcare team through providing lectures and in services, and precepting experiential education rotations.
- The individual facilitates the advancement of knowledge in health care by participating in research and scholarly activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform those duties necessary to accurately and completely monitor therapeutic regimens.
- Conduct and document medication histories on selected/appropriate patients.
- Evaluate all non-formulary drug requests originating in the assigned patient care area; document approval or suggestion of formulary alternatives as appropriate.
- Provides pharmacokinetic dosing assessment and recommendations for appropriate drugs or in appropriate patients, and documents in patient's electronic record.
