About the role

  • This position is responsible for caring for antepartum patients, laboring patients through childbirth, recovery, and postpartum, lactation education and assistance, providing family centered care including the well newborn and the Level 2 Nursery.
  • Assure expert, compassion, individualize nursing care for patients and families expected.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety and satisfaction.
  • Administers medications, performs treatments, and assists in procedures as needed
  • Delivers excellent service by utilizing Relationship-Based Care to advocate for safety, patient preferences, and optimal communication through partnering with patients and families.

Requirements

  • One-year clinical experience required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), required.
  • Minimum of Associate Nursing Degree for positions hired after 07/01/2018.
  • Must be HIPAA compliant.
