About the role
- In this role, you will translate field failures, warranty data, and out-of-box experience issues into root cause investigations and corrective actions with suppliers and internal engineering.
- A great day means a recurring customer complaint gets traced to a true root cause, a supplier CAPA closes effectively, and Cost of Poor Quality trends down on the next report.

Responsibilities
- Drive reduction of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) by analyzing customer complaints, warranty data, and out-of-box experience trends, then leading corrective actions back through engineering and suppliers.
- Operationalize QMS policies, procedures, and work instructions on the production floor, and support audits, customer visits, and factory acceptance tests.
- Partner with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to define process parameters and validate supplier process capability against product requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, or Materials.
- Proven root cause analysis skills with cross-functional facilitation ability.
- Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings and comfortable using measurement tools such as calipers, multimeters, scales, and hardness testers.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks
- 3Dconnexion SpacePilot experience a plus.
- Hands-on experience with SPC, DFMEA/PFMEA, Weibull Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and Six Sigma methodology.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
- Experience working with overseas contract manufacturers in China, Taiwan, or Vietnam.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to inspire the same in others.
