About the role
- This role requires an advanced level of knowledge in a field of science or learning and consistent use of discretion and judgement.
- This individual will operate research equipment, help prepare scientific manuscripts and proposals for funding agencies, and train students and other lab/field personnel in research.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in biomechanics or motion analysis laboratory.
- Experience with human motion capture equipment and analysis software.
- Ability to work without supervision and prioritize a multitask workload.
- Required Education and Experience
- BS in biomechanics, engineering, kinesiology, physiology, or a related discipline.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills to handle multiple, time-sensitive responsibilities, set priorities independently, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Nice to have
- MS degree in biomechanics, engineering, kinesiology, physiology, or a related discipline.
- Experience using electromyography.
- Experience using ultrasound.
- Experience conducting biomechanical and/or statistical analyses in a computational scripting language (MATLAB, Python, R).
- Experience trouble-shooting research equipment and software.
- Experience writing standardized operating procedures and lab documentation.
- Recent and relevant clinical and translational research experience.
- Evidence of successful collaboration in a professional setting.
Compensation
- Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire's experience.
- Other Requirements and Factors: Because all or a portion of this position's salary may be funded by grants or contracts, continuing salary and overall employment is contingent upon availability of these funds in the future.
