About the role
- All are done utilizing real-time metrics and editorial judgment to elevate the most compelling and urgent content.
- The copy desk touches all outputs while enhancing tone, readability, and accuracy of the editorial operation.
- This person will be trained in sending editorial news alerts to the ESPN App and the ESPN Fantasy App.
Requirements
- Experience in online media content preparation.
- Applicants must have the ability to work in a rapidly changing online environment and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A background in or ability to quickly become competent in HTML.
- Sports take place during nights, weekends, and holidays -- and those shifts will be regular and required.
- Must be an excellent headline writer and able to present and tell stories in a tight space.

- Editing and maintenance for all of ESPN Mobile App's plus notifications and News programming.
- The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs.
Compensation
- The hiring range for this position in Bristol, CT is $58,100.00 to $79,800.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week.

- The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
