Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of component specifications, validation test plans, and DFMEAs for all assigned components, and ensure all are kept current within Confluence.
  • Lead complex technical component qualification programs in support of New Product Development (NPD) and Value Add/Value Engineering (VA/VE) using validation test plans, DFMEAs and the Independent Design Review process.
  • Develop up to date technical expertise for assigned components.
  • Lead quality and field improvement projects as assigned. Projects may involve unit system, subsystem, or component design application and testing.
  • Maintain/update agency listings (UL, ETL, CSA, etc.) to support assigned components.
  • Interaction with product design teams, advanced engineering, operations, marketing, field operations, suppliers and customers will be needed to successfully achieve this team's goals.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience in Residential HVAC products is a plus.
  • 401K match up to 6%, plus an additional 2% core contribution = up to 8% company contribution.
