About the role
- As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will be the final gatekeeper of quality and reliability for our next-generation robotic systems.
Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans for sub-assemblies (actuators, end-effectors) and integrated robotic solutions to validate human-like dexterity and reliability.
- Design & Development: Design, build, and maintain custom automated test equipment, jigs, and fixtures using CAD and rapid prototyping to simulate real-world manipulation tasks.
- Execution & Analysis: Conduct functional, environmental, and stress testing. Analyze results to identify failure modes and work closely with the R&D team on design iterations.
- Documentation: Create detailed test reports, trace matrices, and certification filings to ensure hardware meets all product requirement documents (PRD).
- You will lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle-from defining strategy and designing custom test fixtures to executing rigorous validation protocols.
