About the role

  • This position is responsible for operating welding equipment to fabricate high-quality parts, subassemblies, and finished products.
  • Work includes various types of welds in multiple positions on diverse production lines.
  • This role ensures precision, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Pass and maintain certification through the Welder Qualification Test.
  • Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to wear a standard welding helmet for extended periods.
  • 1+ year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when required.
  • Welding certification from an accredited institution.
  • This position is based in a manufacturing or production environment and may involve exposure to loud noise, dust, moving machinery, or temperature fluctuations.
  • The role may require standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds and up to 30 pounds sustained, bending, kneeling, climbing, or using tools and equipment.
  • Visual and auditory acuity are needed for safe equipment operation and effective communication in a busy workspace.
