About the role
- The Health Physicist Sr provides operational and technical coordination of daily Radiation Protection evolutions.
- Interfaces with other Station departments to ensure efficient coordination of their activities with the Station's Radiation Protection strategies.
- Assist the Radiation Protection Supervisors in the direction of day- to- day activities of the Radiation Protection personnel including log review and coordination with other station work groups
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Radiation Protection Department and Safety Services procedures
- Support Outage planning in the development and execution of radiological support plans
- Additionally, establishes and maintains programs for the effective monitoring and trending of current radiological control practices and actively participates in the development of new processes and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree + 6 years related work experience -or-
- Associates degree in engineering technology, chemistry, radiation protection or related field + 9 years related work experience and NRRPT Certification -or-
