Nice to have
- Assist the Finance team in implementing system monitoring controls (SOX & ITGC) and audits to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established policies and procedures
- Continuously assess system performance and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing optimisation strategies to enhance efficiency and user experience
- Collate and maintain all relevant documentation throughout the process as required by advisors, auditors and management
- 10+ years in finance systems engineering, with deep hands-on experience in Order to Cash and revenue recognition
- public company / SOX environment experience is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ownership of a multi-system architecture decision not just implementation of a defined solution, ideally spanning ERP, billing, and revenue recognition platforms
- A track record of being given a vague, high-stakes mandate and independently shaping it into a scoped, resourced technical roadmap that senior stakeholders acted on
- Comfort operating as the technical authority in a room of Finance and Engineering stakeholders where the recommendation itself, not just the implementation, is being challenged
