About the role

  • The Portfolio Implementation team is responsible for the construction, optimization, and management of AQR's global asset allocation and stock selection portfolios.
  • Portfolio Implementation specialists work closely with multiple groups across the firm to bring to market new systematic investment strategies and refine existing ones, applying a practical understanding of markets to portfolio management decisions.
  • The team, together with the researchers, shares the responsibility over the investment and risk management of AQR's portfolios, in a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment.

Requirements

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
  • Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated experience and knowledge of programming languages (Python, MATLAB, R, or equivalent)
  • Detail-orientation, ability to multi-task

Skills

  • Exceptional problem solving and quantitative skills (Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics)
  • Excellent communication skills

Compensation

  • The salary range for this role is expected to be $140,000 to $160,000.
