About the role
- This role is based on-site in San Francisco, CA.
- Identify gaps between current systems and certification expectations
- Help establish repeatable processes for audits, documentation, and ongoing adherence
Responsibilities
- As a Safety & Compliance Engineer at Droyd, you will drive certification and standards work across the company.
- Own compliance and certification workflows across the company
- We design and manufacture our hardware in-house, which means iteration, fabrication, and execution all happen under one roof.
- We need someone to own the process of turning technical work into certifiable, documented systems.
- Drive progress toward relevant ISO standards and related requirements
- Can manage complex cross-functional processes with many moving parts
Requirements
- Have experience with ISO standards, certification, or regulated technical systems
Nice to have
- Experience with robotics, industrial systems, or safety-critical hardware
- Familiarity with audit preparation and certification programs
- Experience supporting enterprise customer compliance requirements
- If we do this right, robots stop being demos and start being infrastructure.
Compensation
- $120K-$170K base salary, plus equity
