About the role

  • The Distributed Organizing Associate will play a critical role in recruiting distributed volunteers to take action ahead of the 2026 election.
  • In this role, the Distributed Organizing Associate will train a large volunteer network on a variety of in-person and online actions using a variety of tools and tactics.
  • This distributed organizing work will be crucial to take back the House and Senate in November.

Responsibilities

  • Volunteer Training: lead large-scale virtual training to train and educate volunteers to participate in in-person and virtual direct voter contact, ranging from hosting in-person voter registration to virtual phone banking.
  • Build Volunteer Community: Cultivate a fun and supportive national volunteer network using digital tools to facilitate connection, celebrate progress, and keep volunteers engaged ahead of the election.
  • Pilot New Tools: the DNC is piloting a suite of new organizing tools to manage distributed volunteers at scale.

Compensation

  • The starting salary for the Distributed Organizing Associate position is $54,100, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which means you will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek, and has an end date of November 15th, 2026.
