About the role

  • This opportunity is well suited for someone with commercial construction experience who is interested in growing into a Project Manager role.

Responsibilities

  • Support construction projects from planning through final closeout.
  • Process construction documents, shop drawings, and submittals.
  • Help maintain compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Support project estimating and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Field & Administrative Support
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, field teams, and office staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field with 2-3 years of experience working for a commercial or industrial general contractor
  • At least 5 years of commercial construction experience in place of a degree.
  • Experience supporting both subcontracted work and self-performed construction activities.
  • Knowledge of commercial, institutional, renovation, and site construction practices.
  • Experience with estimating, scheduling, project tracking, and construction documentation.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and construction management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field with 2-3 years of experience working for a commercial or industrial general contractor; or

  • The following certifications are preferred.
  • Candidates who do not currently hold them may be given up to six months after hire to obtain them.

Compensation

  • Starting Salary: From $73,000 per year (higher compensation may be available based on experience)
