About the role
- Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking a Cathodic Protection Technician to join our team!
- As a company, we provide a wide range of leading-edge engineering, management, and digital services to the public and private sectors.
- This position will conduct cathodic protection surveys, cathodic protection repairs and installations, corrosion control services and corrosion inspections.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will reside within driving distance of these areas.
- The ideal candidate will reside within approximately 1 hour travel time to a major airport.
- An AMPP/NACE Cathodic Protection Tester (CP1) certification is required.
- What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?
- Certification, diploma or degree in corrosion technology or related field.
- 2 or more years of related experience with cathodic protection systems.
- Basic knowledge of DC circuits, chemistry and metallurgy
- Knowledge of CFR 49, Parts 192, 193 and 195.
