About the role

Job Description Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for Homeowners Claims.
Determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority.
National General is seeking an Inside Property Adjuster to join our Claims team!

For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned reps from those areas to achieve best outcome

When working from home, you must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, along with appropriate desk and seating.

This could include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License.
Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team.
Demonstrates intermediate understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
Recognizes and identifies key components of residential construction and repair
Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
Demonstrates a basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company
Learns how to determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation offered for this role is 56,000.00 - 92,000.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
This policy applies to all aspects of the employment relationship, including, but not limited to, hiring, training, salary administration, promotion, job assignment, benefits, discipline, and separation of employment.

Employees eligible to work from home also receive a monthly connectivity reimbursement to help offset internet costs.
