About the role
- Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Water & Sewer / Civil Project Manager to oversee underground infrastructure and civil construction projects throughout Saskatchewan. - Manage water, sewer, and civil construction projects from planning through completion
Responsibilities
- Manage water, sewer, and civil construction projects from planning through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
- Support field supervisors and forepersons by providing direction and resolving project-related issues
- Manage project documentation, reporting, RFIs, submittals, and project closeout requirements
- Lead project meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
Nice to have
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field is considered an asset
- Experience working with municipal infrastructure projects is considered an asset
- Experience with project management software is considered an asset
- Required Certifications:
- The following valid certifications are considered strong assets (or may be required depending on the project):
- Ground Disturbance Level II
- Standard First Aid
- Leadership for Safety Excellence
Skills
- Minimum 5 years of project coordination or project management experience in Saskatchewan
- Proven experience managing water and sewer infrastructure projects
- Civil construction experience is required
- Strong understanding of underground utility construction methods and municipal infrastructure projects
- Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with project documentation and reporting
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
