About the role

As a Partner at Alaro, you'll help build the firm that replaces the old law-firm operating model
delivering clear, timely legal judgment to clients while building a faster, more consistent delivery model behind the scenes. You'll bring a portable book and scale it through Alaro: leading key client relationships, working with our lawyers to deliver outstanding outcomes, and partnering with engineering and operations to turn what works into systems, tooling and playbooks. This is role designed for partners who want real leverage, real pace, and real control over quality.

Matter leadership: Lead matters across corporate and commercial workstreams with speed, precision, and sound commercial judgment
Client ownership: Own and expand client relationships over time, building trust, advising as a true partner, and contributing meaningfully to business development and growth.
Team collaboration: Collaborate closely with legal colleagues to deliver consistently high-quality outcomes, share learnings, and raise the bar across the team.
Product partnership: Partner with engineering and operations to advance our delivery model and tooling, turning real matter feedback into better systems that compound our impact.
Playbook building: Standardize and codify recurring work into templates, precedents, and playbooks that improve consistency and speed without losing judgment.
Commission upside: You earn a meaningful share of the fees you bring and deliver, with clean, transparent economics.
Operational infrastructure: Support on on-boarding, conflicts, matter intake, engagement processes, billing and collections.

Are a practicing lawyer (10+ years qualified/licensed) in private practice, with strong expertise across both corporate and commercial workstreams.
Understand commercial objectives and dynamics, and you can translate complex legal issues into clear, practical recommendations.
Have mentored or trained lawyers, and you raise the bar through how you work.
You can also choose to work from our offices in London or New York.

We bring the whole company together once a year for an offsite in Alaro (Mallorca), and regularly gather the team in one of our offices to align, whiteboard, and discuss in person.
