About the role
- Processes and balances incoming and outgoing Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) files.
- Processes ACH disputes and government reclamations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process ACH windows for customers including origination file preparation, manual kick to system for processing, balance, and evaluation of suspends and unmatched files in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities
- Research and process late returns and Power of Attorney (POA) documents.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
- Develop and demonstrate working knowledge of ACH request processing across one business line, including retail or commercial.
Requirements
- Associate's degree, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 2 years' general work experience
- Process and respond to government reclamations within required timeframe.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the use of Personal Computers including word processing, spreadsheet, presentations and industry-specific software.

- Proven verbal and written communication skills
Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $18.68 - $31.14 Hourly (USD).
