Responsibilities

  • Manage the State Capitol Park service contracts. Establish, confirm, and certify that the work meets the terms of the contracts. Landscape and grounds maintenance management
  • manage operation of systems, precipitation monitoring and adjustment to systems. Utilize computerized systems such as Rainbird IQ4 irrigation control and water conservation software.
  • Administers and enforces all park rules outlined in OAC 260:60 Manage / coordinate events and reservations that include an outdoor element.
  • Operate and maintain park maintenance equipment
  • Manage the State Capitol Park service contracts.
  • Irrigation systems management; manage operation of systems, precipitation monitoring and adjustment to systems. Utilize computerized systems such as Rainbird IQ4 irrigation control and water conservation software.
  • Operate and maintain park maintenance equipment; including a small fleet of autonomous lawn mowers.
  • Support the Capital Assets Management team

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associates degree in Agriculture or Applied Science in Horticulture

Compensation

  • Salary up to $67,000.00 based on education and experience.
  • Salary based on education and experience.
