Responsibilities

  • Analyzes the failure of electrical systems, determines the cause of failures, evaluates the quality of construction or reviews design or maintenance procedures.
  • Performs field investigations, leads multi-party examinations and documentation of damaged property.
  • Manages/works on multi-disciplinary teams on large and complex assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and various environmental conditions
  • Envista Forensics believes that Veterans arrive with not only translatable skills and technical expertise but in addition come with the intangibles

Nice to have

  • Active PE is required (in the state of employment is preferred)
  • 5 years' experience evaluating electrical failures in a commercial or industrial setting preferred
  • Power systems experience (generators, transformers, and switchgear, etc.) is a plus -Electro-mechanical experience is desirable
  • Active PEng (in the state of employment is preferred) or must be able to obtain PEng within one year

Compensation

  • $25k-$30k
