About the role
- Bozeman-area civil team dominated by residential and subdivision development
- Subgrade inspection, site plans, staking, and subdivision feasibility across Bozeman and Big Sky
- Boundary survey, ALTA, and land development for multi-family and custom homes
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects ranging in size and complexity
- Assist Project Executives and Client Executives with design scopes of work, fee calculations for proposal generation, and contract reviews
- Create project schedules with targets for milestones and deadlines
- Create monthly billings, submit financial information to Accounting in a timely manner, and update billing projections and estimated completion percentage for all projects monthly
- Ensure design milestone deliverables are achieved, IMEG and client quality control processes are completed, and construction technical support occurs in a timely manner
- Collaborate with design staff and coordinate scheduling of projects during all phases of design and construction
- Schedule and lead progress meetings, provide meeting documentation, conduct construction site visits, and provide documentation as needed or requested
- Respond to and resolve client and construction concerns, manage change orders, and obtain appropriate approvals
- Mentor, train, motivate, and lead others
- Build, maintain, and develop client relationships
Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent, required
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required
- Mastery of technical and analytical skills including proficiency in the Civil Engineering field
Nice to have
- 7 years of experience minimum required, 8 preferred, in the building design consulting industry
