Responsibilities
- Monitor the facility's DCS operations and performance, provide technical support and troubleshooting and facilitate the development of programs for improvement.
- Communicate and maintain proper documentation related to the DCS/PLC system status, changes, and coordinate/conduct personnel training for such related items as necessary.
- Conduct failure mode analyses to identify units posing excessive failure risks and support proposed changes in design.
- Develop, update, and track action plans pertaining to DCS/PLC tasks
- Communicate progress to Automation Plant Specialist and Automation Lead
- Oxy employee Automation Integrator will be responsible for knowing and held accountable for executing the roles and responsibilities set forth within this document.
