About the role
- Observe, train, participate and gain first-hand experience of the production and post production of studio shows
- Assist with highlight reels & player packages as well as provide content for the ticker
- Compile, edit & log historically team/player reels for MLB, NHL and U.S. Soccer for digital and social platforms
Responsibilities
- TNT Sports Broadcast Design Intern
- Helping manage the footage library including compiling, evaluating, and logging video for all Turner Sports.
- Gain experience in post-production fundamentals: editing, sound design and visual effects.
- Cross collaborate with a variety of departments including production, social media, library, marketing, talent services and Creative Sports Services Unit (CSSU)
Requirements
- Credit is not required
Nice to have
- Strong knowledge of sports
- Ability to work in a creative, team-orientated and fast-paced environment
- Experience working in television production
- Experience with writing for sports
- Proactive, creative, enthusiastic and adaptable
- Editing skills & experience with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut, preferred
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required )
- Must be a rising Junior or rising Senior undergrad student (18 years or older)
